Saturday, September 19th, from 11am-12pm PST on Zoom

Join us for a time to focus on honoring our imaginations and creative spirit through the practice of altar building.  These altars are meant to serve as a sacred space to connect with our dreams, intuition, and unique inner landscapes where our creativity thrives. We will begin with a brief yoga nidra meditation to ground into the body and deeply connect with the self before we begin constructing our altars. Participants may also bring items from nature, personal mementos, and pictures of family or other guides to add to their altars if desired.

Katy Webber is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and board-certified Art Therapist living and working in Joshua Tree, California. She earned her master’s degree from Lesley University’s Expressive Therapies program in 2011 and has been providing mental health services to her community for the past 15 years. She has experience working with clients of all ages and abilities, focusing on the co-creation of a relaxed, therapeutic environment in which clients can feel safe to explore their emotional needs. Her post graduate training has focused on the blending of both trauma specific modalities such as IFS and EMDR and the expressive arts.
