What is the Art Therapists Peer Consultation Group?
Art Therapists Peer Consultation Group is an arts-based consultation gathering for practicing art therapists of varying experience levels. The intent of the group is to explore topics related to the art therapy process and profession and to build community support. All group meetings are facilitated by a credentialed art therapist. Our first host is Nadia Paredes.
About Nadia Paredes, LMFT, ATR
Nadia Paredes is current president of the American Art Therapy Association. She is a Registered Art Therapist, Licensed Marital and Family Therapist and Intuition Painting® Facilitator who founded Nadia Paredes - Creative Studio, a bilingual resource for Mental Health prevention, unblocking Creativity and authentic self-expression. Her offerings include mindfulness based programs using Embodied Arts, Art Journaling for personal Wellness, and Process Based Art groups. Nadia has a published article in the Alternativas en PsicologĂa Journal.
