SUMMARY

This seminar will provide a variety of perspectives into the work with your LGBTQ clients as well as clients who do not fit into a conventional heterosexual monogamous relationship. Additionally, we will specifically address polyamory and ethical non-monogamy.

Participants will learn how to help your clients talk with their families and friends, how to find community support, and how to implement and maintain self-care and relationship-care.

This seminar will include case studies, art therapy techniques, CBT techniques and terminology to help you navigate this population effectively.

Who Should Attend?

Clinicians who want to learn more about clinical work with LGBTQ clients and clients who are in unconventional relationships. Art Therapists, LMFTs, LCSWs, and LPCCs are eligible to earn CEUs.

  • Apply therapeutic art techniques to address clinical issues that arise with our LGBTQ clients
  • Demonstrate the use of cognitive restructuring to enhance communication and personal relationships

Experiential Component
